We will have to bring the kiddos next time. We will defiantly be coming back to the Choctaw soon. It was great, the price was a little high, but it had awesome food. A little pricy but good it was big enough for us to share as a snack. We received our drinks in a timely manner. The waitress were very attentive and polite. It nice to see everyone happy and enthusiastic at work. They would start dancing and having a good time. The employees seemed like they were glad to be at work instead of it being just a paycheck. It was a very nice experience meeting her. We thanked her for going out of her way to help us. So Steph called the front desk and found out our room was ready. She insisted on calling so we did not have to find our way back to the front desk. We told her she didn't have to that we would walk down there and see if it was ready. Steph asked if we would like her to call the front desk of the hotel and check and see if our room was ready. At this point my wife was getting upset that we still hadn't heard about our room. She asked how long it had been, we told her about 45 minutes. We told her about our room not being ready. The bartender Steph was very friendly, had an upbeat personality, she seemed like she really liked her job. So we found a bar to have a drink and to kill time while we waited. We checked the time while wondering around, it had been about 30 minutes, still no call from the hotel front desk to let us know our room was ready. We checked out the restaurants inside to see what was available to eat. So we decided to go check out the casino, as it was our first time there. They said it should only take about 30 minutes for it to become ready. They were suppose to call my wife when it was ready. It did take us about 45 minutes to check in though. The room was spotless, the beds are amazing. There was a amazing view of the oasis from our room. We sent our kids to grandmas for a few days. We decided to have a couple of days to ourselves. My wife and I visited Choctaw Casino Resort in July 2013.
